How it works
- Scan a document or select a PDF.
- Choose the target language and start processing.
- Compare results with the original, especially names, numbers, deadlines and negations.
Data processing
Published iOS version 1.0 sends selected document content to an external AI service. Processing exclusively in Germany does not apply to that version. Prepared version 1.1 recognises text on the device using Apple Vision or Android ML Kit and sends recognised text, target language and page number over an encrypted connection to OpenZen AI 2B in Germany. Images and PDFs stay on the device in this new architecture.
Sources and freshness
The source is the document you choose. An AI result is not a binding statement from its issuer. The switch to OpenZen applies only after installing the new version.
Limits and important information
Recognition, translation and summarisation can change the meaning. The original remains authoritative. DocZen does not replace legal, official, tax, financial or medical advice. Process other people's documents only when authorised.
