Processed content and purpose
DocZen processes selected document images, imported PDF pages, recognized text, target language, as well as generated translations and explanations exclusively for the function you have launched.
Camera, files and local sessions
The camera is only used for a explicitly launched scan; Alternatively, a PDF file can be imported through the system selection. Temporary session files and local interfaces are managed by the app or the operating system and can be removed by terminating a session or deleting the app.
OpenZen AI in Germany
For translation and explanation, the selected document content is encrypted to the own operated OpenZen infrastructure in Germany and there is processed with OpenZen AI. Content is not transmitted to external AI providers or in third countries, not permanently stored and not used for training. The German access server can process the technical necessary connection data in short time in security protocols.
Your responsibility
Process third-party documents only if you are entitled to do so, and weigh the sensitive information not required. Automatic detection, translation and explanation may contain errors; the original document remains important.
Advertising, Tracking and App Store
DocZen does not contain advertising or marketing tracking. OpenZen does not sell personal data. Apple processes data when downloading and store functions in its own responsibility.
Their rights
In the legal framework there are rights to information, correction, deletion, limitation of processing, data transferability, objection and withdrawal of a consent. datenschutz@openzen.info Appeals can be addressed to the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information North Rhine-Westphalia, Kavalleriestraße 2–4, 40213 Düsseldorf.
