All OpenZen applications are now running not only on their own servers in Germany, but also on their own, in Germany developed AI model: OpenZen AI 1B. No external AI provider, no transmission to third countries, no training with user input.
What is OpenZen AI 1B
A model built for concrete daily tasks.
OpenZen AI 1B is not an all-purpose chatbot. It is tailored to the five tasks that the OpenZen applications actually need: order, translate, summarize, sort, explain. This makes it small enough to run fully on their own hardware in Germany.
On your own hardware
The model runs on a self-drived server in Germany. entries do not leave this infrastructure.
No training with user data
What users enter does not return to the model — neither at OpenZen nor at third parties.
Small and efficient
A compact model requires less electricity and less hardware, which makes its own operation possible at all.

The website openzen.info itself is fully operated on its own OpenZen server infrastructure in Germany. WordPress and website data are on its own Ubuntu server; the public HTTPS access runs through a self-administrated VPS in a German data center.
