How it works
- Choose a specialty and place or postal code.
- View facilities ordered by distance.
- Check contact details, services and appointment options directly with the facility.
Data processing
MedZen searches an on-device database and orders results by distance. Updates come from OpenZen over HTTPS. iOS uses Apple MapKit and may offer system translation; Android uses OpenStreetMap-based maps. Location and map services may process connection data. Search and sorting do not need generative AI.
Sources and freshness
The German database uses sources including OpenStreetMap/Geofabrik and open data from the Bundes-Klinik-Atlas. Contact details and services can change; complete coverage of every facility is not promised.
